We are working with a leading international manufacturer who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong costing and manufacturing experience to play a key role in supporting operations and driving financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
- Partnering with operational teams, providing analysis and insight to support business decision-making
- Producing regular management information, variance analysis, and commentary on operational performance
- Analysing purchase price and material variances, reporting findings to the business and wider finance team
- Completing raw material and WIP reconciliations and ensuring ERP data integrity
- Forecasting operational variances, including purchase price and material usage
- Reviewing and reconciling manufacturing stock movements and intercompany material invoices
- Supporting year-end updates to standard costs and providing costing scenarios/quotations
- Assisting with audits and ad hoc projects as required
About You
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
- Strong experience in costing within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to improvement
- Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions
