Escape Recruitment is working with a growing business to recruit a Production & Quality Manager. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on quality ownership, suited to someone who enjoys maintaining standards, improving processes, and being closely involved in day-to-day production activity. You will be responsible for ensuring quality is embedded into everything the operation does, while also coordinating daily production workflow and priorities. This is a visible role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and supporting documentation
- Lead daily production meetings to plan workload, set priorities, and review quality performance
- Carry out regular quality spot checks on work in progress and completed orders
- Manage inspection and verification activities, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and timely
- Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Promote right-first-time delivery and drive a culture of quality across the team
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure production plans meet quality and customer requirements
- Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvements across the operation
- Monitor trends, highlight risks, and put preventative measures in place

- Proven experience in a quality-led role with production or operational responsibility
