An established engineering business in Fife is looking to add a Cable Assembly Technician to its growing assembly team. This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, offering long-term stability and the chance to develop specialist skills. The role sits within a small, skilled team producing high-quality cable assemblies built to exacting standards. You will be working with detailed drawings, quality documentation and test equipment to manufacture and inspect bespoke cable products.
Key responsibilities:
- Assembly and testing of cable assemblies to defined performance standards
- Use of test equipment to verify finished products are within specification
- Working accurately from drawings and quality documentation
- Spooling cables to precise lengths
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
- Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks
- Supporting the team to meet production targets and deadlines
What we are looking for:
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Ability to follow drawings and technical instructions
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to learn
- Previous cable assembly or similar manufacturing experience is useful but not essential
- Reliable, organised and comfortable working as part of a team

- Salary of £29,000 per annum
