Escape Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / CNC Machinist to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Irvine. This role will suit someone who is capable of creating and adjusting programmes at the machine, working from engineering drawings and producing complex, high-quality components within a busy manufacturing environment.
What's on offer?
- £21.00 per hour day shift
- £27.93 per hour night shift (33% premium)
- Rotating 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights
- Monday to Friday day shift
- Monday to Thursday night shift
- Regular overtime available
- First 9 overtime hours paid at time and a half
- Any additional overtime paid at double time
- Permanent position with long-term career prospects
What we're looking for
- Experience programming at the machine from engineering drawings
- Strong CNC milling experience
- Experience setting and operating CNC machinery
- An engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
- Experience with Mazatrol, Mill Turn machines or within oil & gas/heavy engineering would be advantageous, but not essential
- If you're an experienced CNC programmer using Fanuc or another control system, we'd still be interested in hearing from you
