Escape Recruitment is working with a manufacturing client in Fife to recruit an experienced Quality Technician who is ready to take the next step into a Quality Engineer role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in quality within a manufacturing environment who is looking to develop their career further and gain greater responsibility within a supportive team. The role will involve: β’ Investigating quality issues and carrying out root cause analysis β’ Supporting and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) β’ Analysing quality data and identifying trends and improvement opportunities β’ Working closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues β’ Supporting quality systems, documentation and internal audits β’ Contributing to continuous improvement activities across the business Weβre looking for someone with: β’ Previous experience as a Quality Technician (or similar) within a manufacturing environment β’ A strong understanding of quality processes and problem solving techniques β’ Experience using tools such as 5 Why, 8D or similar methodologies β’ Knowledge of ISO 9001 or quality management systems β’ Good communication skills and the confidence to work cross-functionally Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC or FMEA would be beneficial but is not essential.
