A leading manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its shift engineering team, supporting a modern, fast-paced production environment.
The Role
- Working a 3-shift rota (Mon–Fri, 38 hours), you’ll provide hands-on maintenance support to keep production running efficiently and safely.
Shift Pattern
- Days / Backs / Nights rotation
- Mon–Thurs: 6–2 / 2–10 / 10–6
- Fri: 6–12 / 12–6 / 6–12
- Paid breaks included
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of Health & Safety
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance (PPM)
- Fault find and repair mechanical equipment (with basic electrical)
- Maintain systems including conveyors, bearings, motors, and gearboxes
- Support site services (compressed air, boilers, cooling, refrigeration)
- Contribute to continuous improvement and downtime reduction
About You
- Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
- Strong mechanical background in heavy manufacturing/production
- Basic electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with steam/HPHW systems (desirable)
