We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a large-scale, continuous-process manufacturing operation. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving reliability, safety, operational performance, and continuous improvement across a complex industrial facility. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will play a key role in the site leadership team, ensuring maintenance excellence through effective planning, execution, budget control, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities across the site.
- Drive improvements in plant reliability, availability, and overall equipment performance.
- Manage preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programmes.
- Lead major shutdown planning and execution activities.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Manage maintenance budgets, capital expenditure projects, and engineering resources.
- Utilise CMMS systems to optimise maintenance planning and asset management.
- Lead root cause analysis and defect elimination initiatives to reduce downtime and improve performance.
- Develop and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with production, procurement, finance, and technical stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
About You
You will be a proven maintenance leader with experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment such as cement, aggregates, mining, steel, power generation, chemicals, or similar process industries.

- Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent health.
