We’re hiring for our own team at Escape. Being honest, we know recruitment is evolving. Behaviours are changing. The market is tougher. Candidates are different. Clients are different. Technology is influencing how we all work. Some of the old approaches still matter enormously, but on their own, they’re no longer enough.

At Escape, we believe the future belongs to recruiters who can combine strong recruitment fundamentals with modern tools, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and genuine human communication.

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter to join our team in the engineering and manufacturing sector, to work in one of our core areas such as:

  • Design & Development Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Supply Chain & Procurement
  • Maintenance / Asset Care
  • Technical and operational appointments

This is not a “smash the phones and survive” environment. We absolutely believe in performance, accountability and KPIs, but we use them as a guide to help people understand, improve, and succeed, not as a stick to beat people with.

We are supportive, flexible and adult in how we work. Hybrid working is standard. Work-life balance matters. People are trusted to behave professionally and maturely.

We offer:

  • Excellent basic salary
  • Strong commission and bonus structure
  • No threshold on commission
  • 38 days holiday
  • Health package
  • Death in service cover
  • Genuine flexibility and autonomy
  • A collaborative and experienced team environment

Most importantly, we want somebody who still cares about recruitment done properly. Someone commercially driven. Someone who wants to build relationships. Someone who enjoys winning business and helping people. Someone motivated by both service and success.

We know there are good recruiters sitting in larger organisations feeling like “just another number.” If that sounds familiar, and you’d like to be part of a business where your voice, ideas and contribution genuinely matter, we’d be very pleased to hear from you. Even if now isn’t quite the right time and you just want to find out more about us, that’s not a problem, happy to speak with you. Please feel free to contact me confidentially for an initial conversation.

And finally; while we’ve successfully worked with Rec-to-Rec partners in the past and appreciate their support, we’re managing this search directly ourselves.
