A leading engineering and manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their Quality team. This role is responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained across the manufacturing process, carrying out inspections, supporting quality documentation, and working with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Carry out in-process and patrol inspections within manufacturing areas
- Conduct final inspection of products prior to delivery
- Raise NCRs and support corrective action activities
- Carry out goods-in inspection and confirm documentation
- Assist with Factory Acceptance Tests
- Support the preparation of customer data books
- Ensure inspection activities follow defined quality plans
Experience Required
- Previous experience within a Quality or Engineering environment
- Experience using CMM and/or precision measuring equipment
- Experience working within manufacturing environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
The successful candidate will be required to complete BPSS security clearance.
