We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our Glasgow site on a continental shift pattern within the drinks industry.
About the Role
You will lead a team of engineers responsible for maintaining and optimising site services and production equipment to ensure maximum uptime, safety and efficiency. You will act as the SME for services, support capital projects, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team
- Deliver effective planned preventative maintenance
- Analyse downtime and utilities data to improve performance
- Ensure statutory and audit compliance
- Drive environmental and cost optimisation initiatives
- Manage weekly engineering schedules and work orders
About You
- 5+ years engineering experience in FMCG or similar
- Strong understanding of maintenance systems & CMMS
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of BOAS, COSHH, LOLER, PUWER etc.
- Continuous improvement mindset
