We are seeking a Chemical Engineer to join a process‑led manufacturing environment in a development role focused on Process Safety. This position offers full training, clear progression, and hands‑on exposure to safety, compliance and risk management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of SHE and process safety systems
- Assist with compliance activities including COMAH, DSEAR and ATEX
- Contribute to risk assessments, incident investigations and internal audits
- Help coordinate permit‑to‑work and process isolation systems
- Support Management of Change (MoC) reviews
- Maintain safety indicators and accurate documentation
- Contribute to training and continuous improvement activities
About You
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field
- Exposure to process industry environments such as chemicals, food and drink, brewing, plastics, packaging, FMCG or similar (including placements, internships or project experience)
- Strong interest in process safety, risk reduction and engineering compliance
- Good analytical, documentation and organisational skills
