A well-established Ayrshire engineering contractor operating across a range of industrial sectors is seeking a Project Engineer to join its project delivery team. The role will involve managing mechanical and pipework projects from initial tender stage through to final handover. You will be responsible for reviewing enquiries, supporting tender submissions, clarifying project scope with clients, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and overseeing all technical, commercial and programme aspects of delivery. Projects typically range from small works through to multi-million pound installations within regulated industrial environments. The position offers a hands-on mix of project management, engineering input and client liaison, working closely with internal fabrication, site and commercial teams.
