We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join a manufacturing client in Motherwell on a permanent basis.

What's involved:

  • Calibrating and inspecting precision tools and parts.
  • Investigating component faults and raising reports through SAP.
  • Working with high-tech tools like CMMs and FARO arms.
  • Managing stock of inspection materials and processing orders.
  • Ensuring quality standards in a machine shop environment.

What you'll need:

  • Time-served in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with micrometers, verniers and CMM (or willingness to train).
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Flexible and willing to support other teams.
