We are recruiting a time-served Welder to join a well-established heavy manufacturing site in Livingston. This is a hands-on, site-based role, focused on welding and fabrication repairs to large industrial plant and equipment. It will suit someone from a heavy engineering, maintenance or production environment who is comfortable working under pressure.
The role:
- Sub Arc welding repairs on large plant and tooling
- Fabrication and repair work from drawings
- Working with materials including mild steel, stainless, Inconel and high carbon steels
- Burning and lancing as required
- Pre-heating using torches or furnaces
