Escape Recruitment is supporting the appointment of a Junior CNC / Manufacturing Technician to join an established advanced manufacturing team based in East Kilbride. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside highly experienced manufacturing professionals and gain exposure to CNC machining, tooling, fixture manufacture, mould development, prototype production and 3D printing technologies. The business is open-minded regarding background and experience. Attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn are considered just as important as existing technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Support CNC machining activities
  • Assist with tooling, jigs and fixture manufacture
  • Support prototype and low-volume manufacturing projects
  • Assist with mould and tooling development
  • Operate and support 3D printing activities
  • Support workshop organisation and maintenance
  • Assist with fabrication and general workshop activities
  • Learn advanced manufacturing techniques from experienced engineers
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
