Escape Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing organisation operating in a highly regulated environment to recruit a Senior Quality Engineer on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role focuses heavily on internal quality audits, regulatory compliance, and quality management system training, supporting the business to maintain audit readiness and meet regulatory requirements. Candidates from Aerospace or Medical other regulated industries will be considered.
The Role
- Support the Quality Assurance team by managing internal audit programmes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
- Manage and coordinate the internal quality audit programme.
- Prepare the site for external regulatory and corporate audits.
- Lead audit preparation and manage responses to findings.
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
- Develop and deliver quality and compliance training.
- Monitor CAPA, NCR and corrective action activities.
- Analyse quality data and support management review processes.
- Support regulatory compliance across ISO frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Background in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance.
- Experience with internal audits or external regulatory audits.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
- Auditor qualification or strong audit experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
