The successful candidate will typically spend around two days every fortnight on site, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, with the remainder of their time working remotely. Our client is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join a collaborative and supportive procurement team, providing end-to-end procurement expertise across a wide range of categories including ICT, Professional Services, Student Services and FM. This opportunity allows you to work on a diverse mix of procurement activity, from lower-value quotations and framework call-offs through to complex regulated tenders, giving you exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and projects.
- Lead end-to-end procurement exercises, ensuring compliance with public procurement legislation and internal governance.
- Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders across a range of departments.
- Build strong relationships with internal customers, helping them identify the most appropriate procurement route.
- Produce procurement reports and management information to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure procurement systems and supporting activities are maintained to the highest standard.
