A growing manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Technical & Continuous Improvement Specialist to support production, quality and manufacturing improvement activities within a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a broad and highly visible technical role offering exposure to process improvement, quality enhancement, customer support, new product introduction, manufacturing optimisation and continuous improvement projects. The position would suit someone from a manufacturing environment who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and working closely with production, engineering and commercial teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting technical and quality improvement activities across manufacturing operations
- Investigating production and product-related issues and implementing corrective actions
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, waste reduction and product performance
- Supporting new product introduction and technical trials
- Working with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical matters
- Monitoring production performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Supporting process optimisation across manufacturing operations
- Assisting with technical documentation, specifications and quality standards
- Supporting cross-functional projects and operational improvement activities
Candidates should ideally have:
- Experience within manufacturing, production, process engineering, quality or technical functions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Confidence communicating with production and engineering teams
- Experience within fast-paced industrial environments
- Continuous improvement exposure would be advantageous
- A positive, resilient and proactive attitude
