I'm delighted to be recruiting for this fantastic opportunity with my client in Ayrshire who has been operating for over 50 years and have an exceptional reputation within engineering and manufacturing in Scotland and the UK.

Responsibilities / Duties;

  • Develop established Health & Safety programmes, prevention of accident & injury.
  • Promote and develop staff H&S responsibilities and performances.
  • Assist in promoting site health & safety goals.
  • Framework agreements, Staff & Management meetings, Safety Risk Assessment programs.
  • Compliance inspections, Review PPE effectiveness and follow up.
  • Accident Investigations and follow up.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant Health and Safety qualifications
  • NEBOSH Diploma desirable
  • Previous experience working in Health and Safety
  • Working knowledge of CDM would be an advantage
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and IT skills.
