Working as part of the engineering team, you'll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and capital projects from planning through to implementation.
- Manage project budgets, timelines and contractor performance.
- Work closely with production, engineering and operational teams to minimise disruption during project delivery.
- Ensure all projects comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Support equipment installations, commissioning and validation activities.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities across the site.
- Produce project documentation, progress reports and post-project reviews.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience delivering engineering or capital projects within a manufacturing environment, ideally food & drink, FMCG or process industries.
- A degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing contractors and external suppliers.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solving.
