We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a mobile engineering team operating across sites in central Scotland. This is a varied and hands-on role within a well-established organisation that values quality work, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
You'll play a key role in ensuring plant performance, reliability, and availability through both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Maintain plant condition and performance to support operational schedules
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues
- Experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Welding and fabrication skills desirable
- Comfortable using IT systems and reporting tools
- Strong awareness of health & safety practices
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates (time and a half / double time)
- Company vehicle for day-to-day duties
