This role offers the opportunity to become part of a growing organisation operating within a high-risk manufacturing environment, supporting operational teams and helping drive a positive safety culture across the site. We're looking for someone who can contribute from day one. This is not a graduate or trainee position. What We're Looking For

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Previous Health & Safety experience within manufacturing, process, production, utilities, energy, chemical, food, pharmaceutical or similar environments
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections and investigations
  • Comfortable delivering toolbox talks and engaging with operational teams

  • Salary 35,000 - 40,000
  • 25 days holiday plus 9 bank holidays
  • Enhanced pension contribution
  • Life cover
  • Health Shield medical cover
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Annual bonus potential
  • Enhanced parental policies
  • Professional membership support

Beyond the formal benefits package, the role offers the opportunity to work for a major Scottish spirits business within a highly respected and growing sector. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of operational environments, including cooperage, warehousing, maturation and wider production activities, with opportunities to visit and learn from multiple sites and facilities across the business. Working closely alongside an experienced Health & Safety leader, the role provides genuine scope for development and progression, while offering a highly visible, operational position rather than a purely desk-based compliance role. The successful candidate will also gain valuable experience across ISO management systems, audits, incident investigations, toolbox talks, workforce engagement and continuous improvement initiatives, making it an excellent platform for someone looking to build a long-term career in Health & Safety. This role would suit an existing Health & Safety Advisor, SHE Advisor, HSE Advisor, EHS Advisor or Health & Safety Technician looking to further develop their career within a well-established manufacturing business.
