Escape Recruitment are working with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced CNC Turner to their machine shop team on a permanent basis. This is a shift-based role working within a modern machining environment producing high-quality engineered components to fine tolerances.
The Role
- Setting and operating CNC horizontal lathes
- Working across multiple CNC machines within the machine shop
- Editing and adjusting FANUC programmes
- Machining precision engineered components to tight tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings
- Manufacturing components to delivery schedules whilst maintaining quality standards
- Supporting and assisting with training of new staff where required
What We Are Looking For
- Time served CNC Turner / CNC Machinist
- Experience setting and operating CNC lathes
- FANUC editing experience
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience machining stainless steel and exotic materials would be advantageous
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
Shift Pattern
- Rotating shifts: 2 weeks Early Shift, 2 weeks Back Shift
- Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:15, Friday 06:00 - 11:10
- Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 14:15 - 23:45, Friday OFF
Salary & Benefits
- £17.00 per hour
