An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a major industrial manufacturing operation in East Lothian. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving plant reliability, maintenance performance, safety standards and continuous improvement across a large-scale 24/7 manufacturing facility.

Working as part of the senior management team, you will:

  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Manage maintenance budgets
  • Oversee major shutdown programmes
  • Develop long-term asset management strategies
  • Lead all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve reliability and performance
  • Drive root cause analysis and defect elimination initiatives
  • Develop and mentor engineering teams
  • Manage contractors and external suppliers

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification (apprenticeship)
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • Significant experience within heavy industrial manufacturing
  • Experience managing large engineering teams
