Escape Recruitment is looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join a secure organisation and become part of a small, experienced engineering team. The role involves working in a busy, fast moving environment, carrying out planned maintenance as well as responding quickly to breakdowns.
Shift Pattern:
- Peak Season (July - September): 12-hour shifts Rotating pattern: 4 days on / 1 day off / 4 nights on / 3 days off
- Off-Peak Season (October - June): Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30, Friday: 07:30 - 14:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspections, and testing
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving faults effectively
- Undertake installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Support continuous improvement of plant reliability and performance
- Work collaboratively within a small engineering team in a high-output environment
About You:
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification
- Strong fault-finding skills on electrical control systems and PLC-controlled equipment
- Experience with conveyors, chain-driven systems, and industrial processing equipment
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
