We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a large-scale, continuous process manufacturing environment operating 24/7. This is a key role within the site's maintenance team, responsible for ensuring plant reliability, responding to breakdowns, and maintaining critical production equipment across multiple operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repairs
- Maintain and troubleshoot plant equipment in a live production environment
- Work on a wide range of systems including PLCs, drives, motors and control systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with permit systems and procedures
- Support continuous improvement and operational reliability
What We're Looking For:
- Strong electrical maintenance background within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Experience with fault finding on complex plant equipment
- Knowledge of PLCs, drives, motors, and control systems
- Understanding of health & safety procedures in high-risk environments
- Ability to work shifts (4 on / 4 off, days and nights)
