A well-established manufacturing site in Cowie is looking to appoint a Quality Manager to take ownership of the quality function across the site. The role has become available due to several long-serving team members retiring, creating an opportunity to step into a stable operation with a strong foundation already in place.

You will be responsible for leading the Quality Management System, managing a small team of experienced QC Technicians, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. There is genuine scope to shape the quality function and develop the team in your own way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership and development of the site Quality Management System
  • Maintain ISO 9001 certification and lead internal and external audits
  • Manage, coach and develop the QC team
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement using data, KPIs and CI tools
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality matters
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and reporting
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Quality Manager role within manufacturing
  • Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
  • Fully qualified ISO 9001:2015 auditor
  • Strong background in quality systems, audits and compliance
  • Confident communicator with experience working cross-functionally
