CNC Turner - Permanent Position
Location: Central Scotland
Shifts: Rotating Early/Back Shift
Hourly Rate: 16.50 + 20% Shift Allowance
Weekly Hours: 36
A well-established and employee-owned manufacturing business is currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their precision machining team.
Working within a clean, structured, and supportive environment, you'll be responsible for producing high-specification valve and gauge components across Mazak CNC lathes. The company values long-term employment and encourages ownership, contribution, and progression across the team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Setting and operating Mazak horizontal lathes (Quick Turn 200MB & Super Quick Turn 10M)
Machining to tight tolerances from detailed engineering drawings
Working with materials including stainless steel, Hastelloy, Duplex, and Incoloy
Editing Mazatrol programs and controlling production
Supporting new team members with training and development
Keeping quality at the forefront of your work
What We're Looking For:
Time-served CNC Turner or CNC Machinist
Confident editing and setting using Mazatrol
Familiarity with exotic materials and precision manufacturing
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Willingness to learn, contribute, and develop further
Additional Details:
2-week rotation:
Early Shift: Mon-Thurs 06:00-14:15, Fri 06:00-11:10
Back Shift: Mon-Thurs 14:15-23:45Shift Allowance: 20% paid on all hours across both shifts
