  • Identifying training needs and implementing development plans to enhance team capability.
  • Championing health & safety, engineering standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting engineering projects, equipment upgrades and ongoing operational improvements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially aware Maintenance Manager who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent leadership and people management skills.

Ideally, you will have:

  • A recognised electrical or mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
  • At least 5 years' engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance practices.
  • Experience implementing and improving PPM systems.
  • Good working knowledge of CMMS, root cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on management style with the ability to inspire and develop others.

Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similarly fast-paced, high-volume production environment would be particularly advantageous.
