We are currently seeking experienced Pipe Welders for both day and night shifts. You will be responsible for welding and fitting new large pipe spools and repairing old spools. The work includes TIG root and MIG fill for new spools, and MMA root and MMA fill for older spools.
Who This Job Would Suit: This position is ideal for experienced pipe welders with NVQ Level 3 in Welding (or equivalent), CCNSG, or ACE Card. Candidates should have experience with MMA, MIG, and TIG welding, and should be able to meet high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld and fit new large pipe spools using TIG (root) and MIG (fill).
- Repair old pipe spools using MMA welding (root and fill).
- Complete weld tests (6G certification for MMA, MIG, and TIG) or provide current weld certificates.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary with a gross weekly rate of £2,319.
- Site bonus: £2.37 per hour.
- Digs allowance: £355.67 per week (for travelling workers).
- Duration: 6-week contract.
- Shifts: 10/12-hour shifts available, 6 days a week.
