We are currently seeking experienced MMA stick Welders for a Shutdown contract in Birkenhead. You will be responsible for the site welding of pipework and large pipe spools. The scope of work involves welding 42" pipework using MMA welding process.. Who This Job Would Suit: This position is ideal for experienced MMA welders with NVQ Level 3 in Welding (or equivalent), CCNSG, or ACE Card. Candidates should have experience with MMA welding and should be able to meet high safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Positional welding of pipework and large pipe spools using MMA weld process (MMA root and fill) * Complete weld tests (6G certification for MMA) or provide current weld certificates. (ASME 9 / 6G MMA) * Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Salary: * Competitive salary with a gross weekly rate of £2,319 * Day shift: £22.44 per hour / £31.34 (Overtime 1) / £40.39 per hour (Overtime 2). * Night shift: £28.39 per hour / £31.34 (Overtime 1) / £40.39 per hour (Overtime 2). * Site bonus: £2.37 per hour. * Digs allowance of £355.67 per week.(Travelling workers) Contract Details: * Duration: 5-week contract. * Shifts: 10-12-hour shifts available. 6 days a week * Day & Night shifts available.
