Equitas is seeking a committed and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a vibrant and supportive secondary school environment that is passionate about delivering high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Science lessons to students at KS3 and KS4.
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for Science.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum requirements.
  • Track and support student progress through effective feedback and communication with parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting is desirable, but early career teachers are welcome to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Science, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
