We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to become a key part of our busy tipper fleet. If you have a solid understanding of commercial driving and basic mechanical know-how, we want to hear from you! This role plays a vital part in the safe and efficient transport of goods and requires someone who takes pride in doing the job right.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely operate lorries in line with all current road laws and regulations
- Carry out thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
- Load and unload materials securely and efficiently
- Keep accurate records of journeys, fuel usage, and delivery documentation
- Work closely with dispatch and the wider team to ensure smooth delivery schedules
- Carry out minor vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures
What We’re Looking For
- A valid commercial driving licence (CPC) with a clean driving record
- Must have Land Fill experience
- Mechanical awareness to troubleshoot minor issues on the road
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think on your feet
- Strong time management and the ability to work to tight schedules
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Previous experience in a similar role is ideal but not essential
