We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Cleaner to support cleaning operations in Bishop’s Stortford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, providing a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and clients.
Key Details:
- Location: Bishop’s Stortford
- Hours: Flexible support between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Duration: 4-6 weeks
- Industry: Pharmaceutical – strict GMP and HSE standards apply
Requirements:
- Must complete an on-site induction covering Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and GMP Pharmaceutical compliance
- Must wear smart workwear (preferably navy blue or black) – no jeans, leggings, jogging bottoms, or branded T-shirts
- Hi-vis vest and safety shoes are essential
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred, especially in regulated environments
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistency in service delivery.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
