We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Interface Engineer to join a growing SME delivering work on a high-profile nuclear defence programme. This role will focus on managing complex system interfaces, developing structured interface documentation and supporting integration activities across a highly regulated environment.
This position would suit an engineer with a strong systems or interface background who is experienced in working with complex programmes, ideally within nuclear or defence sectors. It will appeal to someone who is confident using SysML tools, managing technical interfaces and facilitating collaboration across multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Interface Relationship Diagrams (IRDs) using SysML within Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Produce and maintain Architecture Definition Documents (ADD)
- Generate and manage interface registers and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Lead and coordinate interface control meetings with key project stakeholders
- Ensure effective communication and management of interfaces across the project lifecycle
In return you’ll receive a contract rate up to £645 per day (Ltd company, outside IR35), with predominantly remote working and occasional travel to AWE sites.
