This position would suit a Quantity Surveyor with a strong nuclear background and hands-on NEC3 or NEC4 experience. It will appeal to someone who can quickly integrate into an established project team, confidently manage contractors and commercial issues, and provide effective cost and contractual support from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial and contractual activities across nuclear engineering and construction work packages
  • Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including compensation events, early warnings, change control and contractual notices
  • Monitor project costs, valuations, forecasts and contractor applications to maintain effective financial control
  • Work closely with project managers, procurement teams and contractors to identify and resolve commercial risks and issues
  • Produce accurate commercial reporting while ensuring contractual obligations and project governance requirements are maintained

In return you'll receive a 3-month contract paying Β£450–£480/day Umbrella, working on a major programme based at Sellafield.
