We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior EC&I Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering safety-critical projects across the nuclear, defence and high-hazard sectors. This role will focus on the design, development and verification of electrical control and instrumentation systems, supporting projects from concept through to installation, commissioning and ongoing support.

This position would suit a Senior EC&I Engineer with experience designing control systems within regulated engineering environments. It will appeal to someone who enjoys working on technically challenging projects, producing detailed engineering designs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and compliant solutions.

  • Design and develop EC&I systems including control panels, wiring schematics, cable schedules and associated documentation.
  • Produce engineering calculations, specifications, reports and technical files to support project delivery.
  • Carry out site surveys and provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Verify and validate safety systems, including Performance Level (PL) assessments and compliance activities.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers, project teams and customers to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
