This role supports complex client programmes by carrying out detailed inspection and quality control activities across multi-disciplinary manufacturing and project teams. The Quality Inspector is responsible for verifying product conformity through inspection, measurement and documentation, ensuring components and assemblies meet contractual, regulatory and quality requirements while supporting right-first-time delivery throughout the production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out dimensional and visual inspection of incoming, in-process and finished components to engineering drawings, specifications and quality plans.
- Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections to support manufacturing and project requirements.
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, thread gauges and other calibrated inspection tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances, including basic GD&T where applicable.
- Complete inspection reports, measurement records and quality documentation accurately and legibly.
- Support internal and external audits through inspection evidence and documentation.
- Ensure all inspection activities comply with company quality procedures and relevant standards (ISO ****, ISO *****, ISO ****).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in Manufacturing or Engineering.
- Experience using measurement equipment; verniers, micrometres, gauges, CMM.
- Ability to read Engineering drawings highly desirable.

Permanent - circa £36k / £***** per hour
Full Time – (Mon-Thurs), (Fri) - 37 hours
