- Quality Engineer working to
ISO 19443 , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Quality Manager in defining and upholding quality standards for project delivery.
This involves ensuring quality assurance measures are strictly adhered to and optimised across all stages of the project lifecycle.
You will engage closely with quality managers and project teams, as well as manufacturing and construction teams, to implement and maintain quality assurance processes, fostering a "Right First-Time" approach to ensure project excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining project processes to ensure successful project completion.
- Promote a " Right First-Time " approach, ensuring quality at every stage of delivery.
- Conduct inspections on manufacturing and installation activities, including
NDT and dimensional checks, with associated documentation.
- Check that procedures are implemented correctly, including
ITPs .
- Proactively address quality issues and suggest improvements to prevent recurring problems.
- Track project performance using KPIs and prepare quality reports for stakeholders.
- Audit preparation actions for
ISO 19443 external audits.
Requirements
- Proven Quality experience within Nuclear or similar
- ISO 19443 and ISO 9001 knowledge
- Knowledge of Welding & NDT highly desirable
