The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical and Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a specialist engineering team delivering complex projects across the nuclear sector. This role will support the delivery of engineering activities from concept and FEED studies through to detailed design, commissioning and operational support, working on a variety of technically challenging projects within highly regulated environments.

This position would suit an Engineer with experience in nuclear or other regulated industries who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and delivering projects throughout the full lifecycle. It will appeal to someone who is confident undertaking technical studies, producing engineering documentation and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mechanical engineering studies, designs and technical assessments across all project phases from FEED through to commissioning
  • Produce and review engineering documentation including technical notes, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, specifications and substantiation reports
  • Support projects involving mechanical handling systems, powder processing technologies and specialist mechanical equipment
  • Liaise with suppliers and review technical documentation to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support operational and project delivery activities across regulated sites

In return you’ll receive a salary up to £55k for a Senior Engineer, £45k for an Engineer.
