We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Software Engineer with experience coding PLCs and HMIs to join their growing team, which is expanding in line with the whole business going through a growth period. This position will be heavily design focused, with trips to sites.
As a Software Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Writing and developing software required for customer projects – mostly Siemens and Allen Bradley.
- Testing all software to ensure it produces the correct results.
- Installing software for customer projects, ensuring there are no faults which could result in delays to project plans.
- Attending handover meetings with other Engineers regarding projects.
The ideal candidate for the Software Engineer role should possess:
- A strong background in software development, particularly in PLC and HMI systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- The ability to manage workloads and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
