An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) professional to join a growing special purpose equipment manufacturer operating within a highly regulated engineering environment. This role would suit a proactive SHE practitioner with experience in manufacturing, engineering, nuclear, defence, construction or similar sectors, who enjoys working closely with operational and project teams to ensure compliance, manage risk, drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting risk assessments, hazard identification and risk reduction activities across engineering, manufacturing and project environments.
- Conducting SHE inspections, audits and contractor oversight activities, ensuring standards are consistently maintained.
- Delivering training, toolbox talks and SHE communications while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and performance reporting.
Proven experience in Health, Safety & Environmental role within Manufacturing, Engineering or Energy sectors. NEBOSH & IOSH certified.
Permanent position, Monday – Thursday, Full Time. Benefits: 25 days holiday plus.
