This is a hands-on execution role at the heart of the Group's marketing function - responsible for bringing strategy to life across all three brands with pace, creativity, and commercial awareness.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the Senior Marketing Executive owns day-to-day delivery across the marketing plan, reporting, content, automation, digital channels, and agency liaison. Strategy is set by the Marketing Director; priorities can shift quickly, and the right person will thrive on variety, spin multiple plates calmly, and approach every challenge with a problem-solving mindset. The office culture is family-oriented, informal, and fun.

Attend weekly meetings with each subsidiary team (ES Recruit, ES Steel, ES Site Services) to understand commercial priorities, pipeline, and target markets.

  • Use those conversations to proactively shape and adapt marketing activity, bringing creative input on how to drive growth in each brand.
  • Build strong working relationships with subsidiary MDs and their teams, earning credibility through reliability and commercial awareness.

Marketing Automation and CRM Communications

  • Plan, build, and manage automated sales and marketing customer journeys using Bullhorn Automation or equivalent marketing automation software.
  • Design and produce email communications and messaging sequences that are well-crafted, on-brand, and commercially effective.
  • Manage audience segmentation and data within the CRM and/or email platform, ensuring lists are accurate, relevant, and compliant.
  • Monitor automation performance, identify drop-off points, and continually improve sequence logic and content based on results.

Marketing Planning and Brief Management

  • Work alongside the Marketing Director to build, maintain, and manage the Group's marketing plan across all three brands.
  • Use the Group's internal marketing brief form for every piece of work, completing it in consultation with the stakeholder before creative output begins.
  • Produce and distribute a weekly marketing output report summarising activity across all three brands.
  • Compile daily and weekly social media performance snapshots, building into a structured monthly social media report.
  • Contribute the marketing section to the Group's monthly board report, ensuring data is accurate and commercially contextualised.
  • Monitor website and campaign performance via Google Analytics, translating data into actionable insight.

Creative, Design, and Video

  • Create, adapt, and maintain branded visual content using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite - including social media graphics, brochures, presentations, and marketing collateral.
  • Produce short-form video and reel content for B2B social media, particularly for ES Steel and ES Recruit.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate creative output where appropriate, whilst retaining creative judgement and brand integrity.

Social Media and Digital Channel Management

  • Manage the Group's social media presence across relevant platforms, including content scheduling via Loomly, community engagement, and response to reviews and feedback.
  • Plan and execute paid social campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok - from creative setup through to performance reporting.
  • Manage and update content across the Group's websites, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and basic SEO compliance.

Website Project and Digital Infrastructure

  • Be an active participant in the Group's new website rollout, delivered in partnership with Sourceflow, with a target completion date of September 2026.
  • Manage and maintain website content through the Sourceflow CMS, ensuring all brand pages are accurate, current, and commercially relevant.
  • Monitor website performance, identify content gaps, and recommend improvements to user experience and conversion.

Act as day-to-day point of contact for designated marketing agencies and suppliers, managing briefs, timelines, and delivery against agreed outputs.

  • Source and manage branded promotional merchandise for use across the Group's brands and events.
  • Create and maintain sales support presentations for each subsidiary, ensuring content is current and visually consistent.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-4 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within recruitment, industrial, or a similarly complex multi-audience environment.

  • Working knowledge of Bullhorn CRM, or a comparable recruitment CRM platform.
  • Comfortable with CMS platforms for content management and site updates; experience with Sourceflow or WordPress preferred.
