ES Global is a world‑leading specialist in temporary structures and event overlay, delivering large‑scale live environments for major sporting, cultural and public events across the UK and internationally. We are seeking a reliable and proactive Site Coordinator, ideally based in Glasgow, to support the day‑to‑day running of multiple event venues across the city this summer. This is a fixed‑term contract running from 5th July to 11th August 2026, with some flexibility based on venue schedules. This role does not offer ongoing or permanent opportunities.
THE ROLE
As Site Coordinator, you will provide on‑site coordination and logistical support across a temporary event venue, acting as a key interface between Project Management, Construction Teams, Supervisory Crew, subcontractors and Health & Safety. You will help ensure sites are organised, information is communicated clearly, activities are coordinated effectively and works progress in line with programme, safety requirements and client expectations. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced site role suited to someone with strong organisational skills, site experience and the confidence to operate in busy, multi‑contractor environments.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Support daily site operations across build, live and dismantle phases
- Coordinate site access, inductions and sign‑in/sign‑out procedures
- Assist with planning and tracking daily activities and manpower
- Support delivery of Daily Activity Briefings (DABs)
- Act as a point of contact for site queries, logistics and coordination
- Monitor site housekeeping and general orderliness
- Assist with coordination of plant, materials and deliveries
- Communicate programme changes or constraints to relevant teams
- Support Health & Safety Manager with site documentation, controls and compliance
- Maintain site records including attendance, inductions and permits
- Escalate issues, risks or delays promptly to Site / Project Management
KEY SITE & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all personnel follow site rules, inductions and PPE requirements
- Help reinforce safe systems of work and site standards
- Monitor work areas for congestion, access issues or unsafe conditions
- Assist with exclusion zones and segregation of works
- Ensure emergency procedures and muster points are clearly communicated
- Support a positive, proactive safety culture on site
- Intervene and report if unsafe acts or conditions are identified
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Previous experience in a site‑based coordination, site supervision or logistics role
- Experience working on construction, temporary works or event overlay sites (desirable)
- Good understanding of site operations and workflow
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in fast‑moving environments
- Confident dealing with multiple teams and contractors
- Basic understanding of health & safety requirements on construction/event sites
- Reliable, punctual and professional at all times
- Ideally based locally within the Glasgow area
