Job Description
We are currently looking for a highly customer‑focused and enthusiastic IT Engineer to join our mobile team providing IT support and excellent customer service to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have base level knowledge of IT support issues and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.
As a mobile engineer you will predominantly cover West & South Yorkshire, so being based in these areas would be preferred.
Day‑to‑day activities include resolving a wide variety of desktop software and hardware issues and requests, while minimising disruption to our users.
- Must hold a full valid UK driver’s licence.
- Resolving PC software and basic hardware issues.
Some knowledge or experience in the following would be advantageous:
- MS Windows operating systems
- MS Exchange
- MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- MS Outlook 2007/2010
- Antivirus applications
- Desktop/printer configurations
- Good communication/relationship skills
- Experience working in an IT support environment
- Building and deploying PCs (desktop and notebook)
- Knowledge of handheld devices
