We are looking for compassionate, experienced, and dedicated live-in carers to join our growing team.

As a Live-In Carer at ES Care Solutions, you will reside in the client’s home and provide personalised care to meet their day-to-day needs. Your role will involve assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, companionship, and general household tasks. You will play an essential role in ensuring the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support, conversation, and companionship to enhance the client’s quality of life.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on the client’s dietary needs and preferences.
  • Medication Management: Assist with medication reminders and ensure timely administration as per the care plan.
  • Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy environment.
  • Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility, whether it be within the home or for appointments and outings.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitor the client’s health, including reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety of the client at all times by preventing falls, ensuring safe environments, and assisting with equipment.
  • End-of-Life Care: Provide palliative care and support when needed, working closely with healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in care work, preferably live-in care.
  • Certifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not required). First Aid, Moving and Handling, and Medication Administration certificates are highly desirable.
  • Driving Licence: A full driving licence is preferred (but not essential), depending on client requirements.
  • DBS Check: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required but can help with your application.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, assisting with mobility, and personal care.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing client needs and work in various locations.
