Location: Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire & Glasgow

Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Core hours 10:00am – 4:30pm.

Grade: 2 • Salary: £16,224 per annum (13.00 per hour). Pay award pending. Permanent part‑time role. Closing date: Sunday 1st February 2026.

Role

The postholder will be part of a team providing support to Veterans and their spouses/partners in their own homes and local communities. The aim is to enable them to live as full, active and independent a life as possible, aligned to the individual assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a supportive presence to talk with; listen and offer companionship.
  • Assist with household tasks and errands.
  • Help with shopping and other errand runs.
  • Escort to appointments and activities, and assist transport to and from these outings.

Home Support does not include delivering any personal care and does not replace existing care services.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a care or support setting (desirable).
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
