Home Support Worker covering Glasgow and Dunbartonshire, 24 hours per week, days worked between Monday to Friday. Core Hours: 10:00am to 4:30pm.

Grade: 2

Salary: £16,886.12 to £16,901.70 per annum (£13.53 to £13.54 per hour)

The Role: The postholder will participate as part of a team providing support to Veterans and spouses/partners, in their own homes and local communities within the Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire & Glasgow areas, enabling them to live as full, active and independent a life as possible, aligned to the individual assessed needs. Home Support includes: having someone to talk to, help around the home, help with errands and shopping, escorted trips for activities, and help getting to and from appointments.

A minimum of 1 years' experience in a care or support setting is desirable. Full driving licence and access to a car for work is required. Home Support does not include delivering any personal care and does not replace any care services already in place.
