The Role: The postholder will be part of a team providing support to Veterans and their spouses/partners, in their own homes and local communities within the Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, Glasgow and East & West Dunbartonshire areas, enabling them to live as full, active and independent a life as possible, aligned to the individual assessed needs. The postholder will be based within the Erskine Veterans Village and will lead the Home Support Team, ensuring a quality service is delivered to service users in receipt of the support visits. You will lead and manage the Home Support staff group, ensuring all staff have the abilities to deliver a quality service. You will be required to visit and assess new services users and agree support plans, if appropriate. You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject and have experience assessing and planning care/support. Experience leading, supervising and supporting a care/support team is also essential.
