Home Support Worker covering Renfrewshire, Inverclyde & West Dunbartonshire Area. Part-time role 16, 18, 24 or 30 hours per week, days worked between Monday to Friday. Core Hours: 10.00am – 4.30pm. Grade 2 Salary Β£24,960 to Β£25,057 per annum (pro rata).

The Role: The postholder will participate as part of a team providing support to Veterans, and spouses/partners, in their own homes and local communities within the Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire areas, enabling them to live as full, active and independent a life as possible, aligned to the individual assessed needs.

Support at Home includes: having someone to talk to, help around the home, help with errands and shopping, escorted trips for activities, and help getting to and from appointments.

A minimum of 1 years’ experience in care or support setting is essential. Full driving licence and access to a car for work is required. Support at Home does not include delivering any personal care and does not replace any care services already in place.
